Welcome to my personal journal!
My goal with this blog is to provide a weekly look into what I’m learning and doing within my business life and personal life. I hope to inspire and encourage all who visit. I don’t plan on blowing my own horn here although if I do manage to do something amazing I’ll certainly want to share that.
I would also like to warn you. I expect to be very blunt from time to time. I’m going to share some of my personal convictions and beliefs. Some of the things I will share on this site will lean very far to the right politically and socially speaking. This is NOT a political blog but being a business person I’m bound to hit on some political issues from time to time. It’s ok for us to disagree as long as we are polite about it.
At some point I hope to share some business success stories with my readers. This is not so I can beat my chest on how great of a business owner I am. This is instead because I want everyone to know that business is done every day by very average people such as my self. I don’t have, nor do I plan on getting a business degree. I plan on doing what all business people have to do; I plan to never give up. I plan to work and study harder than anyone else in my industry. I plan on setting my business apart from my competitors by learning what it takes to have a successful business. I plan on learning what businesses that have withstood the test of time have done to be where they are today and I plan on emulating that to the best of my ability. I hope to be able to share that with you in a way that is both informative and enjoyable.
If you don’t believe you can learn something from other people’s successes and failures then this blog isn’t for you because that’s all we are going to do here. We are going to learn.
